WWE Unforgiven 2008

You know most people look at me and wonder how I can still be a wrestling fan after all the dissapointments and bullshit storylines that WWE has been producing lately. Truthfully, I have found myself following the independent circut more and more lately these days, the guys who you wanna see wrestle are the guys who arent always worried about the money. I also try to import as much from New Japan as Possible as well as the Dragons den and Igpw. Everyone knows that Japan is the place to be if your not to worried about storylines and you want real wrestling. Tna has also been gaining alot of steam lately but has lackluster storyline with incredible wrestling talent. My Online buddy Steve Corino (Former Ecw champ and The Self Proclaimed King of old school wrestled this past weekend in Worcester. Unfortunatly I was unable to attend the show and finally meet my friend in person. I know Steve will read this and I look forward to you wrestling here again.

Enough with my sob stories about missed connections, WWE unforgiven showed us some new faces and possible money making angles. This ppv lacked Edge thou. So the Marquee value went down with the loss of Mr. Adam Copeland. I feel that the fresh Intros of Manu (Afa Jr) and the Continuing push of Rhodes and Teddy Jr is fantastic, I think many people would agree with me that those three need to form a stable, add Afa Jr to that and you have a Younger generation of the 80's reborn, Lets face it folks, Randy Orton is Money in the bank, girls think hes gorgeous (ask my fiance) men want to be him, and real wrestling fans agree when he had the wwe title it was fantastic. I know people are shitting all over Triple H, But who has been the guy to make that belt look respectable 12 times, he is a younger version of Nature Boy Ric Flair. He got the look, the body, the Girl the Gold to back up his impressive career and... He has been star material since day one. Kahli is great for relations with Indian Fans, but hes not a champion, Batista is another Ultimate Warrior, Rey Mysterio was only given the belt because Eddie (Rip) Passed away. Kane... Can You Say transitional champion? And Cm Punk, I know alot of people are skeptical about him holding up a company but in Punks defense I suppourt him, and if you dont believe the Walkin talkin ass beatin pie eatin Instant classic, go back to his ring of honor days were he had epic battles with Austin Aries, Samoa Joe and Brian Danielson. You will never see a better quality athlete then a guy like Punk, Shelton Benjamen and Mvp, finally getting deserved pushes, and Brian Kendrick, well Kendrick has so much potential, but work with him on his promos and try more to push him away from The Brian Pillman. There is no comparing the 2. Chris Jericho now holding raws world title is great, but the way he pulled it off isnt smart. You knew he was gonna snake out a victory when you heard his music, Shawn Michaels last night beat him within an inch of his life and from what sources tell me Michaels was deeply concerned for Jerichos well being, You could tell Jericho was abused like a Kimbo Slice Opponent. And I think personally that Match made the entire PPV. Id also like to send a congrats out to the now finally awarded and long overlooked Matt Hardy for winning the Ecw World Title Last night. Matt gives Ecw Hope, I feel that it was very smart to give the Angelic Diablo the belt. He has appeal with the fans, he also opens doors to new fueds. One of which weather you love him or hate him would be with Mike Mizannin (The Miz) Hes the Guy you love to hate. Lets face it, it will be one hell of a fued if it happens, I feel Mark Henry was too much of a squash champion, there was no way you could beat the guy, he sits on you and your done. His matches are sloppy and his move set is limited, its hard to work over a guy like that. Tony Atlas isnt bad in his corner, but who cares... If Matt Hardy can have a nice long title run, ecw will gain steam, and things will go well in the forseeable future for Ecw.

Im starting to get sick of Divas matches. Maryse has no reason to be in a wwe ring. I personally feel she belongs on her knees Strokin Peter Norths Ego. Shes awful, fun to look at but awful. I feel Michelle Mcool and her butterfly title need to call fit finaly and work on there moves as well as reggie parks for a better belt. Lets face it (that the 6th time i said lets face it) The Tna Knockouts do not have gimmick matches. All of those girls are amasing wrestlers and as weve seen Tna can let them Main Event a show and have a Main Event Quality Match.. Nuff Said. Michelle Mcool and Bree Bella Should not be going over, Victoria should not Job either, shes a fantastic Talent in the ring, shes applied her craft well over the years. And lets face it, shes hot. Natalia Same thing, should have that butterfly piece of trash belt. If I were one of them id pull an Alundra Blaze and Drop it in a trash can on national television.. The only reason michelle has the belt is because she asked undertaker for a buried alive match and won (think about it).

Lets see were Raw Goes tonight.. Hopefully no more Adamle Original Wrestlemania 2000 20 Man Hardcore battle royals with only 5 guys in 20 minute matches.. More matches.. Were was Kofi and Santino last night? Mickie James and Beth Phoniex would have been nice. And Please more of Kelly Kelly! Idc if she can wrestle, I just think shes hot!
